James Rye is a long-standing member of BACP and has Senior Accredited Status as a Counsellor Supervisor of Individuals.
In addition to his qualifications as a counsellor /psychotherapist (see below), James has a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision from the University of Derby and has published articles on counsellor supervision in BACP Journals.

James works as a counsellor supervisor for therapists who self-refer, as well as offering clinical and management supervision to counsellors from local counselling charities. Although he would describe himself as an Integrative Therapist, he is experienced in offering supervision to counsellors from a range of traditions - though counsellors looking for "purist" supervision in a single model of therapy should seek it elsewhere.
He is a Director of Connections Counselling Ltd and a Partner at Peterborough Counsellor Training.
